Whether that’s a fresh fried chicken dinner shared with family and friends outdoors at the farm or a home-cooked meal made with VFF’s pastured beef, pork, lamb, or chicken—it’s sure to please your palette.

The menu changes but it always features meat that’s been pasture-raised at VFF and locally-grown vegetables. VK is only open during VFF’s outdoor events.

The farm store is stocked with over 50+ local vendors and makers—and Vernon Kitchen is one of them! Make dinner at home easy with VK products—four flavors of chicken bone broth, chicken soup, chicken pot pie, rotisserie chicken mac ’n’ cheese. The farm store is open year-round, Wednesday-Sunday, 9am-6pm.

CHICKEN

Bone Broth

Our chicken bone broth is a great base for soup or sip on it for extra nutrition. A technically correct bone broth is one that after cooking and cooling thickens like jello. When it’s gel-like, this is a sign that bone broth is full of nourishing, gut-healing gelatin, collagen, minerals, and amino acids.

Soup

Our chicken soup is made with all the right ingredients and it starts with pulled VFF rotisserie chicken! A big bowl for lunch, dinner, if you’re feeling sick, or just need something to warm up your belly.

INGREDIENTS: pulled Vernon Kitchen rotisserie chicken, carrots, onions, cream, chicken stock, white wine, corn starch, thyme, bay leaf, pepper

FAMILY STYLE

Chicken Pot Pie

A party pleaser for sure. Everyone loves the chicken pot pie and there’s a reason—it’s delicious!

Our pot pie comes in two sizes. Large serves 4-6 people and depending on how hungry everyone is, may even leave some leftovers for the next day. (But that’s rarely the case because it’s so tasty.)

Our small size is great for a single, couple, or a party of 3 people. Grab an extra and stash it in the freezer for those “oh no what should we eat for dinner” nights.

Cook from frozen and ready in 1.5 hrs.

ROTISSERIE CHICKEN

Mac ’n’ Cheese

Cheesy mac ‘n’ cheese with pulled VFF rotisserie chicken for that protein punch. Yum! This is a kid favorite and adults are pretty psyched about it too. This dish could serve as the main event or as a side to a seasonal salad. Mild cheddar and Monterey jack cheese are the perfect combo!

INGREDIENTS: Ingredients: pasta (semolina wheat, niacin, iron (ferrous sulfate), thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), cheese, half & half, rotisserie chicken, butter, wheat flour, salt, dry mustard, paprika.
