13Fifty
This five-piece band, 13Fifty, performs classic rock, southern rock, country, and many other popular tunes from various genres. The band started playing together in November of 2005 to cope with the loss of guitar player, Steve Hines’ son, 1st Lt Derek Hines, who was killed in Afghanistan in September of 2005.
Coming up on 18 years, the band is still rocking and performing together in the Newburyport area. Proceeds from our gigs are donated to the 1st Lt Derek Hines Fund.

As the sister catering company of Vernon Family Farm, VK’s full menu is available at our on-farm events. The menu highlights seasonal, locally grown and raised food—all poultry and meat are pastured right here at the farm!
